illy cafe

We all know Starbucks in the US but have you heard of an illy cafe? There are a couple of them in NYC and they serve coffee from the Italian brand.

So what brand of coffee or tea do you drink every day?

I drink none of the above! I can't stand the way coffee tastes and aside from flavored tea once in a blue moon, tea just doesn't do it for me! Maybe that's why I'm always so tired.

It's inside the Sony building and the coffee is better than Starbucks in my oppinion.
My every day coffee is maxwell house smooth blend, brewed at home.

Yerk, coffee! Not for me thanks, although my boss forced me to taste some today at work...YUK! As for tea, not a fan of it either, although I have been known to have a cup or two at the odd cold, windy rodeo!!!

Oh I love an Illy, I'm surprised you don't have more of it in NY as we have quite a few places to get Illy here.A bit stronger than a Starbucks!

I have heard of the Illy brand , but not the shops until I saw this photo.

I really like the way the counter shines and reflects.

I drink whatever is cheap and strong, hot and available.

Every so often they do a small Illy cafe in the lobby of Time-Warner Center

Coffee is quite good.

Hahaha, here it is quite the opposite: we have lots of coffee shops in Athens, the majority of them serves illy, but just a few (very few) starbucks!!

I have an illy cafe, every day!

Strong French Roast for me.

For half a sec, I thought this was a leftover shot from your trip to Rome. I only do decaf, which probably defeats the purpose—but it still tastes good. Nothing beats a delicious caffe latte, preferably consumed in Italy.

Illy is for the real coffee afficcionados. I take my tea very seriously.
I love the face of the guy on the right: choices, tough choices!

Nespresso... what else? And a last one just before going to bed, like now! :-)

(Personally fed up with the Starbucks - too many of them! Like "illy" these coffee places lack the atmosphere of whay I call a real café!)

I'm a fan of the generic coffee from the little carts on every Manhattan street corner! Lots of skim milk, "extra light."

Yes, there are illy cafes in Tokyo.

My morning fix: Caramel macchiato. After that, it's green tea all the way.
