Ranunculus Bloom

Here is a macro shot of a ranunculus bloom from one of the flower vendors at Union Square. Spring is finally here and there are rows and rows of flower vendors at the market now.

So do you have a favorite flower?

Good question. I don't know, meaning that I know the names of too few flowers to make an 'informed choice'.
This one is nice, I could use it for now...

You must wander over to Sharon's Phoenix blog today to see her collage of roses. Spring is definitely in the air when flowers bloom on the blogs! The colour of your blossom is deep and intense, a beauty for sure.

Aww, pretty renoncule! I am not sure if I have a favourite flower. I like them all I think but I absolutely hate Dahlias - aargh!

ranunculus and peonies and dahlias and all fluffy, soft, colorful flowers are my favorites.

and begonias and pansies and flowery weeds and gerbera daisies and azaleas and snapdragons and all things that remind me of backyards are my favorite.

and gardenias and honeysuckle and tea olive and all things that smell pretty but not like old people are my favorite.

who can pick just one? happy springtime.
