There is no such thing as too many tulips in Spring. This photo was taken at the meridian between the uptown and downtown traffic on Park Avenue and 59th Street.
So are you ready for the summer to arrive?

Simply fantastic. I lived in Manhattan in the mid 90s for a few years and fell in love with the city.
Your daily photos bring back good memories of the city.
Stunning (as always), Ming! I know summer will be here long before I fit back into my summer clothes (sigh). We've had a few years recently where we went right from winter to summer, so for now I'm really enjoying this lovely spring.
Wonderful photo and we are pleased that so many people have enjoyed the beautiful orange tulips this year. Look for the coral colored begonias that will be planted along Park Avenue at the end of May and visit our website FundforParkAvenue.org
Particularly nice, Ming! I've always liked the meridian on Park ... such a civilized touch amongst the urban giants.
And no, never too many tulips ... and YES! I'm ready for summer, though Mother Nature seems to have other items on her "to do" list before she gets around to smiling on a daily basis.
