This is The Arthur M. Sackler Gallery at the Metropolitan Museum of Art on the Upper East Side. This wing of the museum is dedicated to Asian Art with objects from Northern Asia to South East Asia.
So how is your weekend so far?
Welcome to the city that never sleeps!

beautiful statue!
As usual, the weekend is going by too fast.
My weekend is rolling along just fine. I went to see "The Woman", then had lunch with rosé wine and some chocolates and espresso for dessert - what else would you ask for?
Was at "our" museum for Asian culture this morning, a coincidence!
... and now it starts raining!
Had to work all weekend. Would rather have walked throught he islamic section of that wing instead.
Another great image, Ming! Hey, how can I get in touch? I've lost your email address and have some questions for you about your site.

Beautiful statue...I loved the asian department at The Louvre...
Beautiful.... I love museums and art galleries. I'm planning a trip to the AGO (Art Gallery of Ontario) soon.
I love the ornate clothes and head dress of the statue. I could spend several days in that museum!
Just imagine that's your mother-in-law...
It looks like my mother-in-law, no hands (because she doesn't do ANYTHING), no smile and old like @#%&!
i love this wing of the museum.
Hah! I thought this might be another self-portrait by Ming -:))
She's purdy!
