Aren't they like the gulls in Finding Nemo?
"Mine! Mine! Mine!"
Picture perfect! Looks like a statue or wood carving.
What annoys me? Pigeons and their droppings plus the unwise persons who insist and persist in feeling them.
je prefere les mouettes aux pigeons, mais c'est vrai que cela fait beaucoup de bruits
I'd much prefer to hear seagulls over the crows outside my window at 6 a.m. on the weekends! Ugghhh I hate crows!
We have so many seagulls around here, but they don't "talk" very often. I don't know why that is. I like them, and I like your photo. Ours don't hav red beaks or split coloring like this. What annoys me? Not having enough hours in the day! And for sure, car alarms going off and nobody around to shut them off! Doesn't happen here very often, though.
RAP!!
Gulls don't annoy me - because we don't have them here... some of the actions by people are more annoying than that of birds/animals - they should know better than to litter, shout, do things without any thought for others!
Great shot of the annoyance:)
Beautiful photo!
I like to hear the seagulls vocalization. It's link me with the ocean...
So many things!" But probably Kate is right; pigeons in town...
Selfish and rude people.
I'll stick with the bird theme, and say the wild parrots here in SF. How such a cacophony of sound can come from such beautiful birds is beyond me.
Noisy Magpies living in the tree behind our bedroom window. They start calling at about 4 am and don't stop until evening! A friend tells me they'll stop after mating season!
When I'm at my boyfirends who live by the sea you just get used to the noise, it's better than hearing the horrible drunks at the pub opposite!
Hello Birdie!
Seagulls here swoop in and snag your food if you're eating around the picnic tables or on the dock or beach. Messy.
Postcard perfect photo.
Doris
Certainly not the seagulls, Ming!!!!!
After all I am a seaside person, I grew up with this sound... But, I must say, it's quite strange to hear them in the middle of the night...
