Bottom Tip of Manhattan

I have out-of-town visitors this week so we went to the Staten Island Ferry Terminal to take the ferry to Staten Island, of course. This photo was taken a few minutes after the ferry lhad eft the Manhattan terminal. You can see the skyline of the bottom tip of Manhattan Island here.

So how has your week been?

Central Park South

This is the skyline of Central Park South, above the tree line so the buildings you see are probably the 5th floor and up. Directly across the street from these buildings is the southern border of Central Park.

So which floor do you live on?

Park Avenue & 70th Street

This is the scene looking up north on Park Avenue from 70th Street. The buildings on the right are some of the most coveted and expensive real estate properties in New York City. However, most younger people prefer to live downtown (south of Union Square/14th Street).

So where would you like to live for a year or two?

Roosevelt Island Tram

I took this photo last Sunday when I was on my way to Bed, Bath & Beyond on 61st and 2nd Avenue on the Upper East Side. The Roosevelt Island Tram happened to approach my direction as I was walking east so I took out my camera and snapped a few quick photos before going on my merry way.

So have you ever been on a cable car before? If so, where was it at?
