First and foremost, I would like to thank everyone for playing "guess the location" game in yesterday's post.
Alice from Arradon Daily Photo was the first to guess it correctly. The photo was taken in Bruges or Brugge in Belgium. Bruges was designated as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2000. In order to preserve the delicate infrastructure and buildings, few cars are allowed into the city. Almost everyone rides the bicycle or takes the buses in the city.
Here is another photo (The Market Square) of the city.

Thank goodness!!!!!!!!! I couldn't guess anymore and the curiosity was getting the better of me ;o)
I would never have picked the actual location though anyway.
I love these kind of buildings. I wish we had them in my city...Would be great...

I have been twice in Bruges, so it was not too difficult for me (but i first gave a wrong answer with Amsterdam!). Bruges is really a very pleasant place (and Belgian chocolates are so good!)but, you know, Ming, to go inside the Empire State Building is also an amazing experience, I can give you the address if you need! ;-)
I have never been there. Looks like a neat place...
yes, it's such a beautiful place...
What gorgeous photos, Ming, I've always wanted to go to Europe, but we always end up travelling in Asia. I'ts too expensive, I guess for a family of four and to go so far you'd want to visit more than one place and there's also the time issue- I hate to rush. I have 2 of my bestfriends that I've known since childhood that now live in different states in the U.S. that I've promised to visit but have not too, oh well.. Where were you originally from, Ming? or were you born in the U.S?
ah Bruges! a fantastic place. my friend gos there twice a year to stock up on beer and chocolate.yumyum
I simply love Bruges! There's a mini Venice in there!
I didn't guess...I was late visiting. I love the sound of your Thanksgiving weeekend. Makes a lot of sense!
Well, in that case I take back what I wrote. Nevermind!
