Safety walls erected around construction sites are frequently plastered with street posters advertising products and services or movies and music. Some of these posters can be very creative and colorful, while others are just plain funny or weird.
This street poster on Spring Street and Lafayette Street in SoHo is advertising a chain of gym outlets called, Crunch. I am attracted to this poster because of its creative use of flat colors and cartoon characters to represent the gym's acceptance of all body types. It almost made me want to join the gym.

This one is so funny! New-Yorkers are very fond of sport halls, aren't they?
At first glance I thought it was for a biscuit!
I like it too, nice, clean colours. Here it would be covered in graffiti in minutes.

It is a very nice poster (s). I like the use of flat colors and cartoon characters too.

Cute Pic, Ming! This is a fresh approach by the advertising Co. isn't it , rather than the very cliche beautiful bod type ad?
This poster is cute! I like it!
This is great fun. I agree - really like the different body types.
I like the "we all crunch" - do we?

eg(scotland) - I haven't crunch, I mean work out, in over a year. I hate gyms. I rather walk all over the city and take pictures. Maybe that is why I don't look like Brad Pitt. Hmmmmm!
Yeah - and that's why I don't look like Angelina Jolie!
Your shots are so good though.

eg(scotland) - Maybe we should star in a sequel called, NOT Mr. & Mrs. Smith.
We can both play undercover (anonymous) bloggers who shoot with our cameras at unsuspecting victims.
Great idea - Only thing is you haven't seen the shots I take! Just been looking at a few to see if there are any I can put on my site - it's clearly not a strength for me. I think that's why I'm looking in on sites such as yours - trying to get some inspiration and hints and tips.
Part of my Plan though is to learn how to take a good photograph. One of these days!

Nice colours, and It looks quite 3-dimensional too.
that's a great poster. back home tomorrow. can't wait to be in NY.
It would be refreshing, and reassuring, to exercise in a gym where body types such as these were represented.
They remind me of puppets!
