Dog in Nolita

This cute dog was tied to a pole outside a cafe in Nolita (north of Little Italy) while its owner went inside to get some coffee. The dog must be used to this arrangement because it didn't look scared or nervous. Actually it just looked bored.

When I crouched down take this photo, the dog didn't get excited or wagged its tail. It merely looked at me as if to say, "What do you want?" Now, that is a New York dog. :-)

So when do you feel bored?

Aahh! What a beautiful animal. It looks very well cared for...groomed nicely. His color looks like a "gentle leader." The coffee shops here always provide basins of water for the dogs that join their owners.

I don't know if this qualifies as feeling bored or not, but it might. It happens to me when I'm excitedly looking forward to something later on in the day, but I have things I must do in the intervening time. That's when a feeling of malaise comes over me, a feeling I cannot shake no matter how much I'm looking forward to later on. I soldier on and accomplish my assigned tasks, though, and eventually excitement overtakes me again.

This is such a lovely dog photo, Ming. Cavalier King Charles Spaniels are such easy laid-back dogs which is probably why it was so easy. Anyway he's such a beauty and is probably used to having his photo taken. 'Oh, wot, not another photographer wants to snap me...oh well, I know I'm beautiful so...'

No time to get bored so I don't get bored. Life is too exciting, too much to do and see.

now I've read the other comments I've forgotten what I was going to say but it was all along similar lines to everyone else - one cool doggie.

ah yes - a very patient pooch!

Beautiful dog, Ming! He looks adorable, too!

Fortunately I never get bored. I think that to be bored ou not to be bored is essentially a matter of temperament in the end.

Have a nice Sunday.
Um ótimo Domingo.

It does look cute but not entirely friendly. I seldom get bored, there's too much to see and do. Well, maybe in the bus heading home from work on a dark winter evening.

Now that's a gorgeous little pup! Wonder what breed it is..?

Can't help but wonder what my two spoiled doggies would do on a leash walking around NYC...!
Oh boi!

There's just too much goin on in my little world right now to experience boredom. So..I don't have that particular 'luxury' at the moment. dare to dream...

Laterz,
B.

Don't they allow dogs in restos in NYC? Coz when I'm in Manila, I take my dogs with me and eat pancakes with them. :D

I get bored when I'm not doing anything.

Isn't it a pity that they don't allow dogs in caffes? Most of them are better behaved than the human patrons ;-)

(loved your pigeon comment on my blog!)
