Sun Breaking Through the Clouds

The rain began last Wednesday and it poured and drizzled almost non-stop until Saturday afternoon. Then the cloud lifted and the sun broke through. It was a beautiful sight!! This photo was taken at 5 PM Saturday evening as I was standing on the subway platform waiting for the train to arrive. I was going into the city to meet my former colleagues for dinner and drinks. And I didn't get home until 1:15 AM Sunday morning.

So do you still socialize with your former colleagues from your old jobs?

Wow....I thought you did some photoshopping on this photo! Haha....nice shot.

And wow again, the sun sets so early in New York this month of the year! In Sillypore, the sun sets around 6.50pm (November).

Great photo, Ming. The way you have the skyline at the bottom accents the huge sky, cloud and sun breaking through. I like this photo a lot.

Waouh..Superbe photo sur NYC.
J'étais très content de te rencontrer à NYC, pour une soirée sympathique. On prévoit la même chose dans un an, sauf si tu passes par Paris avant

Waouh .. Great photo on NYC.
I was very pleased to meet you in NYC, for a nice evening. It is expected the same thing in a year, unless you go by before Paris

What a dramatic shot!

Don't often socialize with ex-colleagues but if there were, i guess it will be centered around food and drinks.

Oh! This is a beautiful shot. What a sight to look at while waiting for the train. Do I hang out with old colleagues? Sometimes.

A fantastic shot, which you of course somehow got by chance... but of course the camera must be around and with a good photographer behind!
Well, as retired, when I meet my colleagues, they can only be old colleagues - except blogging colleagues of course. I meet some of both kinds, and with pleasure!

What delight you must have taken while waiting for the train to come, standing there looking at that sky, anticipating the fun evening you would have. Thanks for capturing that moment for us, Ming-full-of-mercy.

That is a typical Ohio sky for this time of year. It looks nice to me. We had frost here this morning.

Luckily some of my old work colleagues are now my best friends. It's nice that you keep in touch with your work friends too! Sounds like you had a late night!

Ming, I couldn't spot Batman. Where did you say you saw him? I spotted Spiderman though, inspite of his good disguise.

Ming this is an excellent photo. You've captured the feel of the evening so well, I almost can feel it here in the UK!

Er... this is my first job so my former colleagues are people who left the company. And yes, I count some of them among my friends. :)
But back to your picture which is absolutely gorgeous. What a magnificient sky!!! This is one of the best thing in this city: whatever the weather, the sky is always interesting.
