The theme for October 1st is cemetery or tombstone. I took a photo of these ornate cement urns at a garden store in NoLIta (North of Little Italy) that I thought would make beautiful tombstones in the future.

Happy Theme Day
Bel ornement, dans le bas de manhattan (pres de Ground Zero) tu as un tres beau et tres vieux cimetiere Français
Beautiful ornament, in the bottom of Manhattan (beside Ground Zero) you have very in vain and very old French cemetery
The way it sits and how you've captured it, it already looks like it's in a cemetery, well done.
Whwre DO manhattanites have the last rites?

Beautiful urns in a lovely setting. Are there cemeteries in Manhattan, Ming?
I did think that they were already in a cemetery ... nice shot.
It is beautiful indeed!
If one judges from what is posted by other bloggers, an urn would be distinctive and different.
Beautiful interpretation of this theme!
Very nice.... but definitely a dead end place to be!!
I could see someone using these in their garden...nice shot.

Oh, Ming, you crack me up! I guess we could subtitle your post -a tombstone in training ;-)
Better a garden store than a cemetery! :))
Nice shot!
How much does an urn like that cost? How heavy is it? Do they deliver?
Excellent idea, combine entrace path with funary urn. So, when you get guest that stay that little bit too long, you'll have somewhere to put them.
I hear dead people...
