La Parisienne Cafe

I had breakfast in Paris and was back to NYC in less than an hour. Or so it seemed. This photo was taken at the Bernarduad store window on Park Avenue and 60th Street. Bernarduad is a maker of fine chinaware and jewelry.

So what do you eat for breakfast before you go to work in the morning?

pour moi, cela sera un chocolat chaud avec un croissant au beurre, merci ;o) alors quand viens tu en France pour prendre un vrai petit déjeuner à la parisienne ?
For me, it will be a hot chocolate with a croissant with butter, thanks ;o) then when you come to France to take a real breakfast at the Paris?

since I work at my house I eat whenever my hands are not coated with paint, and it is usually whatever we have available, like today it will be some sort of toast...

fancy huh???

I usually have cereal. I wish I could have chocolate chaud and a croissant every morning though :)

Asking visitors a question: what an excellent way of making your site 'sticky'. I might adopt it (if I can think of any questions that is) ;)

My breakfast varies between having porridge (made with water in 2 1/2 minutes in the microwave and served with single or double cream - delicious)

or

just coffee, FOLLOWED BY a large almond croissant mid-morning.

I like to have my English breakfast in UK, but at home I must confess I just drink a glass of pure water :-) Strange uh?

Lots of posts showing restaurant tables with yummy stuff on them, mine included. Looks like it's getting cold, as Olivier said :).

I like the idea of Paris in NY! Since I don't go to work in the morning, I indulge myself whenever and wherever I wish---usually at a neighborhood cafe with a croissant and a latte.

Ah, nice photo, Ming and aren't you clever to do that journey so quickly.

I eat porridge for breakfast but half way thru the morning I have coffee and a brioche. No logic, I know.

Very cool persepective. Love the idea!

Grande, extra-hot, non-fat, no-foam latte with two Splenda, please.

I really love this photo, Ming! Well done!

Soured milk with granola (muesli) accompanied with half a litre of tea usually makes me going in the morning. And I have it before I go to work.

I used to eat Fage Greek yogurt and granola, but these days I've been having (lo cal) blueberry muffins, berries, and coffee.

It's Bernardaud. Funny, I spotted this window two days ago and thought it was cute. I wonder if they will change it for the holidays.

I don't go to work in the morning (any more)! ... but I eat breakfast!
Could go downstairs to a Parisian café, but normally I have just orange juice, roasted bread with jam, coffee!

What a cool photo!!

I'm usually in too much of a hurry on weekday mornings. But on the weekends I go all out. I love diner breakfasts!

I had English muffins and oatmeal for brunch. To answer your question about who's cooking Thanksgiving dinner, that would be Lamont and Leland, my two sons. About the camera, I purchased the two-year service policy, Ming, which is why Mr. Romano only had to ship the D50 off to be fixed. It was worth the cost, for sure.

Hope you're having a great day!

oh it depends, but my favorite breakfast is poached eggs with some olives, cherry tomatoes, yogurt, and a slice of bread on the side.

i've never really been a big fan of sweet breakfasts like pancakes and french toast. Although, I love danishes.
