These sausages were from the Koglin German Hams store at the Grand Central Market. The store specializes in sausages and cured meats from around the world. Although I have not tried the sausages here, I have gotten some deli meats and some breads and cheeses from other vendors at the market for an impromptu picnic at Bryant Park.
So do you like processed meat products like sausages and deli meats?

Nice charcuterie display, Ming. Any beer to go with that?
er... do chinese sausages (lap cheung) count? ;p
Oh yes but of course. I'm Swiss, we love our sausages ^-^ . Looks very good.
Love the photo - the British Bangers made me laugh. Wonder if they really are like British Bangers?
I love sausages. YUMMY.
Justement c'est l'heure de manger, cela me donne envie
Precisely it's time to eat, it makes me want
Yum!! They look delicious. I love sausages of any kind! We have both posted meat photos today, that's funny!
Ming, what is it with you and this food thing? One thing...you love it! That's good.
Ooooh, I love deli meats!! I love prosciutto and salami and mortadella and all of that good stuff. Grand Central Market does have a wide selection. Can't afford to shop there anymore, though..now that I've left my law firm and am a poor in-house lawyer.
I used to love hot dogs and bologna sandwiches.....until I was reprogrammed to make healthier choices. Now I eat veggie sausages....not as good as the pork ones, but at least they won't clog my arteries.
Lori with Zabar's, Ming with sausages, I'm glad to be back on time for the party, and I'm looking forward for Eileen's and a nice cheesecake...
I like good sausages... not easy to find!
Darling Ming, I hardly ever meet food I don't like. :)
I agree with Fenix and Isadora, Ming. I'd also add some chewy, flavorful bread, some sort of goat/sheep cheese, and fresh sliced fruit to my plate. Yummy!
Forgotten lunch today - I feel hungry looking at your pic.
hhhmm saw the british bangers..wish you could get them in japan~!
No-one can compare with NY delis!
I agree with Peter.
If someone I know and trust has done the processing, sure. Otherwise, not a chance. I have no illusions about what our food industry use to make sausages, for instance.
I pass by there every day!
That place has great stuff, but I always kind of wonder how they stay in business because I never see anyone buy stuff there, and I wonder how much of their food (particularly the deli stuff like the salads) goes to waste.
Then again, I guess if they sell it, someone must be buying it.
