Last Friday night, my colleagues and I went out to dinner at Otto Enoteca, the least expensive restaurant on American Iron Chef, Mario Battali's stable of restaurants in New York City. I ordered the thin crust pizza, which was really good. My friend ordered the pasta with Italian sausage and it was awful. All in all, the food was a mediocre but the dining company was excellent.
So what is your favorite cuisine?

Hi, Ming. For some reason I hardly ever see our pictures on the portal. We must be living on different clocks even though we are only one time zone apart.
This is a cool trick with the exposure and motion. It somehow reminds me of the abstracted mothion in Duchamp's Nude Descending a Staircase. I may need some restaurant recommendations for when I'm there in a couple of weeks. I'll let you know.
Ming, it seems that you're always eating out in some wonderful restaurant! A different one each week. But of course you have so many to choose from in NYC.
How disappointing but not so surprising. Thankfully, you were in great company, which makes the experience more enjoyable.
I think I pretty much like everything. Not big on Mexican food. Althought I was at Rosa Mexicana last night and it was quite nice.
Ming, I've always wanted to go there, but now after that review of yours I'm having my doubts. At least you got a great photo.
A great picture, my fav cuisine is Tex-Mex of course.
But the night made for an excellent photo, Ming. Absolutely gorgeous. Keep amazing me, please.
The movement makes the picture and it reminds me of a butterfly moving from flower to flower.
The photo looks really good! Sorry to hear the food wasn't up to much. My favourite cuisine is Italian. :)
If I answer Portuguese, it would be suspect? Ok, then French and Chinese...
I'll be out from Wednesday through Sunday, but meanwhile leave you in Amsterdam!
Have a great week!
World cuisine! (Pretty much like you, I think.) :)
BTW, I loved Babbo six years ago, hated it two years later...
Love the photo. . .Sorry to hear about the dining experience. My husband and I ate at "Strings" on the Upper East Side a few years ago and relaly liked it. It's a small, Italian place.
Favorite cuisine? Italiano
I've always had good food at Enoteca and I love their pizzas. I guess like everything else, it's hit or miss. Have you ever been to Cendrillon? Filipino food, obviously.
I like that effect in the photo. Was someone blowing smoke rings in your direction? Or is this Enoteca haunted by a ghost?
Is that a chef walking by? or *ghost* :O
I have to say my fav is still Chinese - SE Asian, Cantonese, Teochew, Hokkien...all included :P
Mexican, Chinese, Korean
Chinese and Japanese! :-)
