Upper East Side

Here is a view of Upper East Side (looking northwards) from the corner of Madison Avenue and 72nd Street. The street is empty because this photo was taken on a Sunday morning at 10 AM in the morning. I think half of the city were still in bed.

So do you usually sleep in on Sunday mornings?

N.B.: I am heading to Montreal for a short impromptu vacation. I will try to keep the photos coming whenever possible.

Enjoy Montreal!
We never sleep in on Sundays. We get up for a big pancake breakfast and church.

I would love to sleep in on Sunday mornings but the body clock seems to be waking me up with an automatic alarm! :O

Have a good and safe trip!

je te souhaite de bonne vacances à Montréal, ou tu ne seras pas en manque de neige ;o).
J'aime prendre les photos très tôt le matin (ou très tard le soir)

I wish you good holidays in Montreal, or you will not be in lack of snow; o).
I like to take pictures early in the morning (or very late at night)

The colors are nice on that street. Not what I would expect from a NYC street.

Early Sunday morning I am usually out with my camera.

Enjoy the cold and the snow in Montreal!

I'm an early riser and the city is always quiet (which is how I like it) at that time.

Have fun in Montreal and keep those pictures coming!

Great view of the city landscape. Impromptu vacations are the best, take care. Yes, we do sleep as long as we can in Stockholm. At least I do and if anyone was up early I wouldn't know, would I? ;)

Nice photo! Love street's photos!

I get up early all day, about 7 or 8 am. I think that much sleep it is a great waste of time! Lol!

Have a great trip to Montreal!

Great photo! I'm usually up before 10 a.m. on Sundays, since I have such a long commute to work I'm usually up around 6 a.m. most days, and my poor foolish body can't sleep late anymore.

I still prefer the Upper West Side :o)

Enjoy Montreal, and Happy New Year!

I'm a lark (up early), not a night owl!

Sunday morning is my supermarket's day; early to avoid crowds, and because it usually closes at 1:00 p.m. (except in December...)!
Enjoy your Montreal break; hope it's not too cold...
Wish you a very happy, healthy and successful 2008!

Ming, have fun in Canada. I hope you take some photos. I know it will be very cold there, but hopefully you'll be able to get outside for some pix. I loved my travels to Montreal and also to Quebec City. Have a wonderful time and a happy new year to you!
