Lafayatte & Canal

This traffic light post at the corner of Lafayatte and Canal is covered with numerous street signs. I thought the structure was interesting because the it resembles a fork on the road -- do you continue in the same direction, turn left or turn right?

So have you ever come upon a fork on the road in your career? What did you do?

Boy, if I was standing there, at my age, I would turn around and go back home. I am totally lost in a large city and one that takes longer than a week to walk through is just to large. Your photo is nice and captures a lot of details I would never have thought was there.

I reached rather a large number of forks in the road career wise. I usually picked the wrong one...that's how I ended up retired...which was the correct fork for me!

Hi Ming, glad to see you back!
Like Olivier, I would take Lafayette, direction Eileen's Cheesecake...
Have a great week!

I think I always take the straight road.

No forks in my career, yet....but I'm hoping something comes along. I'm beginning to get antsy at work.

If I came across a fork in the road, I'd pick it up and put it with the knife!!

I always loved Lily Tomlin's version of being at the corner of "walk and dont' walk"!
