Tree Silhouette

I saw this REAL tree at Union Square that looked somewhat similar to the STEEL tree by Roxy Paine that I posted last month. I also love the silhouette against the blue sky.

So do you usually look up towards the sky?

en voyant ta photo apparaître, je me suis fait la même remarque que toi, j'ai tout de suite pensé aux arbres de Paine.

Seeing your photo shows, I made the same point that you, I immediately thought of the trees Paine.

Yes, I do, and here the sky is easier to be seen than between two skyscrapers!
Happy you enjoyed my pebbles!

Very nice photo!

Yes, I look usually up towards the sky (or the house facades), rather than where I put my feet. Sometimes with unfortunate consequences.

Great photo. I posted one like this the other week. I love bare branches against blue skies.

Beautiful silhouette picture!

Yes, I often look up towards the sky as I love clouds.
Especially in a city like NY, it's well worth looking skyward. All those gorgeous houses/facades/buildings!

I hope you take another pic of this tree from the same vantage point in the spring, summer, and fall.... it would be good to see the differences.

No I don't usually look up at the sky that much. This is a great photo...love the starkness of the tree against the soft blue of the sky. I agree with ex-shammickite..would be neat to see the differences each season:)

I really like this photo, the tree doesnt quite look real against the sky.

You don't see many stars in the city, but I love looking at the stars when I'm upstate. Last year I got a telescope for Valentine's Day.

Yeah, I thought this looked like the steel tree you posted some time back too. This pic looks really good, Bud, I LOVE it!
I look at the sky during sunset and at sunrise if I'm awake. Sometimes too, at a peculiar shape of cloud formation.
Have a Great weekend, Bud!

Nice to have some blue sky to look at - our skies are often grey or almost white - I can see a very similarly shaped tree from my window right now, though not clearly as there is a rose bush between.

I love this tree shot and the sky in the background.
