Apparently, we weren't the only crazy ones to walk across the Brooklyn Bridge during a snow storm on Friday afternoon. After having the right side of our faces frozen by the howling wind, we stopped in at Ferrara in Little Italy for some cappuccino (me), hot chocolate (Carl & Emeline) and cookies.
So what is your favorite way to stay warm during a cold winter's day?

Escape to Florida! ;-)
Wonderful shot of the bridge!
Oh what a tangled web we weave...Lovely views of the bridge and the winter. Over water, I bet it was a howling wind :) My favorite way to keep warm is to stay indoors.
I wouldn't dare to risk freezing at Brooklyn bridge during a snow storm; of course, there are always some brave people to catch the nice pictures for us to see! Unless you just did it as an excuse to get to Ferrara... ;)
Anyhow, it was much warmer at the Bulgarian churches I'm posting on Blogtrotter. And, of course, it's much warmer in Lisbon, just across the Atlantic...
Have a great week!
Honestly? Well, it is to set in my favorite chair and look out the window at the howling wind blow snow across the driveway and to see people, struggling to get through it on their way to work.
That is my favorite way to stay warm.
Hot wine with spices, please!
What a fab shot, Ming. Very brrrrrrrrr though. Well if I lived in NY my favourite way of staying warm would probably be to go to Ferrara's! Normally tho, stay home and cuddle up to a couple of fat dogs.
beautiful!
Warm shoes and gloves!
Definitely the hot chocolate!!
How about going to a Caribbean island and experiencing a sandstorm?
Great shot, although it makes me cold just looking at it. It also makes me feel guilty that I complained about the little snow we received Saturday! ;-) However, Ferrara's sounds great!
Another great photo! I'm glad your efforts in the cold were rewarded with hot chocolate!
Oh what an expedition it must have been! Your photo is a killer !
Hot chocolate and cookies, oh yes, just my style !!!
You found the perfect cure for a cold winter's day. I would have done exactly the same.
i like this pic a lot. alotalotalot. :)
Uhm I should have a couple of replies I let you picture ;-)
Love this picture! It's amazing!
What a wonderful shot. I had seen the bridge in pictures before but with snow and people I had not. It is a different approach. I like that.
