New Apple Store in Chelsea

This photo was taken at the new and third Apple Store in New York City. Located in Chelsea, on 14th Street and 10th Avenue just north of the Meatpacking District, the store is one of the many new arrivals in this recently gentrified neighborhood. The staircase structure is made of plexiglass (I think) giving it that floating imagary as shoppers navigate from the one floor to another.

So what are you doing this weekend?

Wow, that is a freaky staircase. I may have to take a trip in just to see that.

Going to watch the pigskin game and hope I win some $$ :)

Neat staircase, and like b13 I will be watching the game hoping to win $$$.

I'm reading some blogs drinking a cup of tea, and I'm sure not to win even 1 €! Bon Dimanche!

I bought two iMacs. I sold the first one to a newspaper reporter. Then, I bought a second one and am looking for another newspaper reporter to sell this 20 incher to. I don't like Macs but my son is one of their biggest spokesmen. So I am dumb and dumber.

I like your photo. I like the photos of the new Apple stores. They are as modern-looking as modern-looking gets. I like most everything about Apple except Mac computers.

Cool! Another Apple Store for my husband to visit. :D I wouldn't mind going either because I think their products are simply works of art. And I was really gutted when we ran out of time to visit and explore the rest of the city.

Should look you up and when we're in NYC next :D

Weekend? My radio show, updating blogs and the usual chores. You?

Thanks for visiting Norwich Daily Photo and your kind comments. Have a wonderful weekend. Drop by again!

Hmmmm, remind me never to wear my miniskirt when navigating that staircase.

This w/e? Superbowl game at OlderSon's house.... not that I know anything at all about football, but I like eating his homemade chili, and I made an awesome dessert to take along.

Love the reflections!

This weekend? Reading, nothing but reading and sleeping. It snowed outside. 3 cm of snow. Tokyo was very quiet!

I love the way you've captured this. All that light and reflections and people on the staircase. I don't have a Mac but think I will get one for my next computer. Just not sure how easy it will be to change over? I see friends with them and they look just superb.

Apple design is magic, including their shops!

When I saw the title "apple store in Chelsea" I thought it meant a greengrocers in London!

I prefer apples I can get my teeth into.
