Bagel & Cream Cheese

I was in Chelsea to meet my accountant last week and after the meeting, I stopped by Murray's Bagel in the neighborhood for a bite to eat. As you can see, I ordered the sasame bagel with green onion cream cheese and a big cup of coffee. That was my breakfast and lunch.

So have your filed your taxes yet?

I can't remember the last time I had a bagel with cream cheese! And I do like them.

There are trade-offs when one leaves in order to enjoy sun in another country. Bagels haven't made it to Mazatlán yet and I would LOVE to have one after seeing your photo.

Taxes? You're kidding me, aren't you? Last minute, always!!

That looks awesome. I'm going to stop at an old haunt tomorrow because of this post!

A&S bagels in Franklin Square, LI, NY is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and supplies... well... everyone around here ;)

I used to go there after a night of clubbing to get bacon cheese melts... but I'll be getting the sesame with scallion cream cheese tomorrow!

Just getting all the tax receipts and paperwork together, putting it all in a big envelope, and then forgetting about it until the last minute!
Bagel and cream cheese.... my mouth is watering at the thought. Oh well, I'll have to settle for homemade bread, toasted, with homemade strawberry jam!

yknow, I don't think I could live in a place where I couldn't get a decent bagel.

Call me a snob, but any breadlike thing with a hole in it won't do. It has to have attitude and bite to it. It's got to have a bit of crunch on the outside, and densely chewy on the inside.

have a good weekend, Ming!

That looks yummy. Nothing like a good bagel with cream cheese.

Would love to take a bite, but after extensive dental work this year, I'm extra cautious biting into anything with my front teeth....which kinda leaves bagels out.

Tax time....funny you should ask. My paperwork is ready and I have an appointment with the accountant this week. Praying I don't owe.

Ming, thanks for breakfast! NYC is, to my mind, defined by bagels! There are so many good bagels to be found!

Yesterday I served lunch on my DPB, and the day before that it was dessert. Today you did breakfast. Now, to complete our daily nutrition requirement all we need do is figure out who is serving our dinner. LOL

Oooo! We just had bagels (5 grain and plain) and cream cheese with coffee this morning. Always nice when the weather is crappy.

Taxes. . .This week I go to the acct. I am still trying to figure out all the crap involved with closing my store, so I am procrastinating. What can I do to prolong this a bit more?

Ming this is ever sooooo American.
No bagels in France, and no green onion cream cheese. And we certainly woudl'nt dream of having THAT for b/fast !!!

I'll go and have my croissant now...

(having said that, great idea to do a close up of food, great photo!)

just did 'em yesterday. I don't know why I always procrastinate. They take me about 20 min to do.

Whoa, Murray's has spinach bagels? I've never heard of that. Personally, I'm an H&H bagel kind of guy myself.
