Bicycle for Spring

Spring weather is finally here and we should all be outside getting some fresh air and enjoying the beautiful weather. How about getting one of these bicycles from Bicycle Habitat in SoHo? I bet you will get a lot of attention riding these colorful bicycles.

I rented a bicycle at Central Park about four years ago and I went home walking a little funny. :-) So when was the last time you rode a bike?

I'll take the orange one.

Can't believe you haven't been on a bike since 2004!

I ride my bike everywhere in the summer in Minnesota and attach the Burley (a cart for kids that I bought to pull my grandchildren) when I go to buy groceries. I would have LOVED to have had a bike while I was here this winter but I didn't want to buy one and then have to leave it here. Or try to sell it. I would have loved to have had any of those bikes in the rack. Great photo.

I absolutely adore photographs of bikes. Haven't a clue why but just do. Your photograph gives them to me in spades. Fabulous.

I can't ride a bike because of a whiplash injury - can't bend neck back and look ahead, if you see what I mean, so I have to enjoy it via photographs.

I bought a nice mountain bike about 15 years ago, rode it a lot. Next I bought an electric bike, and rode that a lot, too. From the electric bike I moved to a Vespa and ride that almost everyday. I like the retro look of these bikes, though, and if I were in the market I'd want mine to be red. -:)

Don't you think these bikes could fit quite well to your "carrot family" of yesterday? ;-)
I'm waiting for a nicer weather before taking my own bike (which is much less funny than these ones!)

I love vintage bicycles and these are soooo colorful. They define springtime riding! Unfortunately up here they would just get muddy if I tried to ride them anytime before June. I have a bright red vintage Schwinn that doesn't come out of the garage until all the mud is dried up!

I want the pink one!
I already have a bright pink bike, a friend was getting a new bike and she gave me her old one. I love biking around the neighbourhood in the summer. I only learned to ride a bike 4 years ago.... never had one as a child as we lived where there were no roads, and lots of hills.

haha, every dutchman (well almost every) rides his bike daily. It's a very common way of transport in big cities due to congestion.

Three years ago Elliot and I won $500 on a scratch-off ticket. We purchased 2 bicycles with the winnings.

Bike riding in Manhattan is like taking your life in your hands. The first (and only time) we took the bikes out we rode crosstown, up 10th Street to West Street. From there we peddled south, biking around the tip of Manhattan and then uptown along the FDR Drive, until reaching our apartment near Union Square.

The bikes remained in our building's bike rack, untouched, until we decided to bring them upstate....where we rode then again....ONCE.

What if I say, I don't know how to ride a bicycle? Well, I did many years ago but after bumping into a roller skater and falling down, seems to have had bike-phobia ever since!

Nice comfort bikes! Our whole family rode some rentals in Yosemite valley that had nice fat tires like that, and loved them. My husband and I both commuted to work by bicycle, he much further than I. It's easy to use them in combination with buses and trains in the places we've lived. This reminds me I need to sell his "nice" bike (he had already sold the one he commuted with).

Great colors! The bikes look like a bouquet growing through the SoHo sidewalk.

Nice pic! I love bikes but it has been quite a while since I rode one. I love to walk everywhere these days. I did ride one from Basel to Geneva when I was 18, though.
