This skyscraper, east of the Staten Island Ferry Terminal, is One New York Plaza. It has these interesting square windows that make it looks like a beehive.
I wonder what it feels like to work inside there. Will everyone be running around, busy like a bee?

Hahahaha..I bet it's SWEET to work in that building.
I know that building! It is very striking and is hard to miss on a crisp blue sky. I like that you choose to show it as a close up to accentuate the beehive effect. I've passed it many times, took picture of its nice silhouette but never thought of that angle. Nicely done.
Sweet indeed in that hive. Unless, of course, there happens to be a Washington Mutual Bank branch there. In that case it's not so sweet.
I like the symmetry you've shown, Ming.
Nice shot Ming.
The facade seems familiar. There might be a similar building around here.
nice and blue!!!
It could also bee a giant waffle? Sweet anyway. I like the shades, each window frame is exactly divided in two, one darker and one lighter.
Copied on a few of the (low) Paris skyscrapers! For the busy bees inside, I'm not convinced about the influence of the window design, but who knows? :-)
Chuck said it all. Another biggie failed. We will pick up the bill for all these.
Well the bee have probably to relocate soon...
Nice shot

I'll just bet there are plenty of drones in there too. Sorry, I couldn't help myself. It is an interesting angle and love the blue/white symmetry going on.
This reminds me of one of those optical illusion drawings by Escher. Thinking about the honeycomb of cubicles in there is giving me hives. Oy.
Looks like government architecture. Does this building house federal offices of some type?
For some reason, it reminds me of a block of chocolate! I like the blue.
Thanks for visiting Norwich Daily Photo and leaving your comments. Happy weekend!
