I saw these guys selling *heart* O t-shirts out of their backpacks on Spring Street in SoHo last weekend. Tourists lined up to buy them like hotcakes because the political situation in the US is so unique that we may have a historic event in mid-November. But the bigger question is, who will be keeping the profits from the sale?
The closest I've gotten to "working the streets" was ringing the Salvation Army bell outside the local Super Walmart in Monroe, Louisiana a million years ago. What about you? Have you ever worked on the street?

I'd guarantee the shirts were made by very poorly paid foreign persons.
I do try to support the Salvation Army in other ways. Good to hear about your ringing that bell.
Nice tee :D
Why MIng, it's not nice to ask a lady if she has ever worked the streets. Why of course I haven't. Who would pay????HA
Like this street scene. I will admit the heart/O thing took me a minute to figure out. I'm slow before coffee!
The nearest I got to street work was delivering leaflets as a teen. It was hard work and I wasn't paid much for the thousand leaflets I delivered! Never again!
I never worked the streets. Not sure if anybody in my family has.
Never worked the streets but I like those t-shirts.
Nice the *heart* O t-shirts.
I never worked on street.
This is a great T-shirt idea.
I may have worked on the street, but I can't say for sure.
It's Sunday & I'm too tired to think about it! LOL
Like Virginia, took me a few minutes to figure the shirt. The street scene is always vibrant in NYC.
Me-work the street? You are kidding? Great post Ming.

Hi Ming, thanks for your visiting and congratulations on your correct answer on my Quiz about plants! Cheers!
No...can't say I have. :-)
wat does the "O" signify?
I want one of those t-shirt. Very cool! And much more cooler here in Italy where nobody would imagine what that "O" could mean! W Obama !
Yeah, I wouldn't buy Obama items unless I know the profit is going to his campaign... These look like some bootleg entrepreneur trying to cash in...
i used to hand out flyers in main street, flushing when i was in jhs. that really sucked.
I really like those tees! Very cute but not girly. So simplistic too. I'd buy one.
