Flatiron Building

And here is the Flatiron Building -- originally known as the Fuller Building when it was completed in 1902. It sits on a triangle plot of land bordered by 5th Avenue, Broadway and 23nd Street, and is probably one of the most famous pie-shaped buildings in the world.

Speaking of pie, I'm craving peach cobbler pie. Do you have a favorite pie?

I have seen this building many times, but never from this point of view, which is rather impressive!

If I remember correctly you have also an excellent view of the building from Empire State..., but of course we cannot expect you to go up there every day! :-)

Beautiful picture. That's the perfect angle for shooting tall buildings!

Awesome photo. I love the sky in the background, too.

You have me craving a peach cobbler now.

Ooh, Ming -- love this! What a great shot of the Flatiron Building. I lived in a triangular building once in Paris—the point of the triangle was just wide enough to fit a bed.
As for pie -- pear tart, please.

Nice angle.

I had some unusual apple-blackberry pie made by a friend this week. Quite delicious! But now you've mentioned peach cobbler, my mouth is watering just a little ....... :)

Iconic building, but this angle is incredible. This has to be my favourite image you've taken. Blueberry pie.

I like how you turn from this famous building to pie in one easy move. Now that is a skill! :)

Great angle for a photo Ming. I'll have to try a shot like yours when I visit.
Peach cobbler with lots of extra dough crust soaked in the juice. MMMMMMMMMM good.

I like how you caught the finials on the lower detail but were able to nearly black out the Sprint sign. I think Sprint should not be allowed to soil such a beautiful building. Nice shot.

You caught such beautiful, delicate light here, and I love the color of the sky.
