This was my fourth year participating in the race and I have to admit, it was my fastest time too. I finished the 4-mile (6.4 kilometers) race in about 1 hour 15 minutes.
Welcome to the city that never sleeps!

c'est bien toutes ces courses pour de bonnes causes. des gens courageux...j'en ai vu une, dans central park une année, c'etait impressionnant le monde qu'il y avait...
Ming that is great! What a wonderful cause you are helping. Very inspiring.
Well done ;)it's great to get involved in a race fundraiser !
When will you start to use meters and kilometers and all other kinds if centi-measures? Even the British are doing an effort! Each time you make or read a US-linked message you have to translate in your head, open an conversion site... !! :-) Please do something!! Now, I don't know if this was fast or not! (Good that you have hours and minutes like elsewhere!) :-)
You did real good. I couldn't walk that far. Did you mean a non-organization? I assume you did as it is there and I have never seen a mistake in your written English before.
I would need a really good reason to run, walk or jog four miles.
Well done, Ming!
Well done, Ming!
Abe - Thanks for noticing the typo. It should say, "non-profit".
Peter - I think the schools are slowing teaching the metric system but in every day use, we're still stuck with the old system. Strange but true.
Wow, what a great initiative! Good that there are people like this, you included, that will take the time to help others. It inspires. Wonder what I could do...
Bravo Ming!
OK, it's a nice cause and so you're forgiven for not paying your visits in the blogosphere... ;))
1H15m for the 6.4 km? Kenenisa Bekele, beware... ;))
Have a great week!!
I hate running that's why I couldn't participate to this kind of race.
Congratulations Ming, that's a great performance !!
For christmas, there is a concert for poor children in my city organized by a non profit organisation. You don't pay a ticket to enter and see the artists play, but you give a toy.
It's called "Les rockeurs ont du coeur"
great job ming!
Impressive :-)
Well done, a great way to spend a morning!
Hope you're not stiff and sore tomorrow.
Great job! Glad you had your best finish...and thanks for running to help support those who have life-threatening diseases.
Good for you!
