This is the street scene on West 4th Street near Sheriden Square in the Village last night during the Halloween Parade. The weather was super beautiful and the crowd was unbelievable. This is only one of the streets that were crawling with revelers.
So how is your weekend so far?

Movida! Did you have a good time? Wore a mask?
My weekend is fine. Getting ready for a day out of the town. Maybe on Lake of Garda. We'll see later. Weather good.
Is Boxer's still on West 4th? Nice burgers till 4:00 a.m.; great after jazz solution... ;))
Sounds and looks like a lot of fun! All the movement in your photo emphasizes that. Looks like there were lots of great costumes too.
I just love golden night shots…
Great shot, Ming! You captured the feel of the parade perfectly. My weekends been all about Halloween -- parade on Friday, party on Saturday. Now just enjoying the extra hour of sleep -- how about you?
Love the light in this one. Great shot Ming. Never heard of a Halloween Parade. Only in NYC! :)

I like how you've captured the movement of all those people.
Hi Ming! How're you doing?
Love this night shot!
Last friday I met 3 guys dressing like Freddy Mercury... is that right for a Halloween Parade? there were a lot of zombis and vampire also.
And my weekend was terrorific, damn it, it's now over!
Kind regards :)
It's already been said, but the fluidity of the people in this shot is fabulous. Having a crap weekend so far.
It's been great!! I was hoping they'd show the Halloween parade on New York 1 this year like they have all other past years, but I was sorely disappointed.
c'était la fête, belle photo tout en mouvement.
Sorry I missed THE party.
Crowds worry me.
