Another Snow Day

We are expecting over 3 inches (7.6 cm) of snow in the morning. I'm hoping (praying actually) for a snow day so I don't have to go in to work. I want to sleep in till 10 AM and have a lazy breakfast at the local diner.

So what would you do if you had a snow day or an unexpected day off from work?

i predict a crazy nor-easter sometime in mid february that will shut the WHOLE city down and make it an absolute nightmare.

I'd be total and complete lazy slob. Plop on my "barkalounger" with the remote wearing my sexy flannels.

maintenant que je connais NYC sous la neige, j'adore. Cela doit être impressionnant, bientôt il va falloir sortir les skis de fond.

Now I know NYC under the snow, I love. This must be impressive, it will soon take out the skis.

I would laze in bed, and perhaps the couch for a change of scenery, and read!! The laundry and housework can wait!

I don't have a job, Ming.
My main occupation is raising up Elena and up till now I never had a day off, rain or shine.
If I had an WHOLE day off, I would go to visit the MART in Rovereto, a huge, new contemporary art museum, 1 hour drive from here.
So the snow came?!?!

What is this kind of attitude? ... not going to work because of snow? :-) (Easy to say, when you don't work any more.)

Wonderful photo. I'm typing this from work in the morning. So, no snow day for me. No sleeping late. No lazy breakfast at local diner for me. *sigh* I hope your wishes come true and you're reading this from the comfort of your home.

Did you get your snow day? I never get one, wouldn't know what to do with one! With a summer day, thugh, I would go lay out a blanket at the Rose Gardens in Minneapolis and relax :)

I'm often home because I do a lot of my work from home, but there's always housework, cooking, kids calling, etc. A real treat would be to not have to do any of all that stuff and just read and watch DVDs all day!

I hope your wish comes true! I would stay in bed for a long lie in. I love my bed!

Hey, Ming, we posted sort of similar photos today.
If you didn't get your snow day today, perhaps tomorrow if it all freezes over . . .
Sounds like most of us have the same idea of what to do with an unexpected day off. I'd love to stay in my pj's all day and read. My new bed is SO comfy!

B E A U T I F U L photo! I love New York and I love to see NY when it's snowing (I guess it's better just to see it :-))
An unexpected day at home with no work would be delightful: I would start off with lots and lots of bubbles in my bathtub followed by rich fresh orange juice and a very slow yoga session ...
Glad to see pics of NY, it always amazes me!

So how did the snow day work out? Was it officially called? Love the motion of the snow ... and if it weren't so darn cold out in the stuff I'd really enjoy shooting in the snow.

Every other blogger seems to be writing about snow...it's funny I'm sweating here from the heat but seeing snow photos gives me a welcome break!

I live in Yorkshire, England and have today just had a snow day. Went out first thing to get some photos for my blog. Not convenient really though as I am moving house.
