Chasing Pigeons

This kid was chasing after pigeons at the Brooklyn Promenade. He had a great time. The pigeons, not so much.

So what or who have you chased after?

c'est bien, il faut apprendre aux enfants a faire disparaitre tous les rats-volants ;o)) JE HAIS LES PIGEONS QUI VIENNENT VIVRE SUR MON BALCON.

is good, we must teach children to make disappear all rats-flying ;o)) I hate pigeons who come to live on my balcony.

I chase the fantasy that there is a place I was meant to be, and something I was meant to be doing.

Funny, I was going to post about pigeons yesterday, then I changed my mind...

I've been chasing quiet in a restless world.

P.S. - Oliver is right, I hate the flying-rats too.

I spent yesterday chasing after the Mad Puppy Tessa, and 11 month old Callum. The dog wanted to play with the baby toys, and the baby wanted to play with the dog toys!!!
Big big day in the USA today!
Good luck to your new president.... and may the people (and the media!) employ caution, understanding and patience cos the current mess will take more than a few weeks to clear up!
Hooray for Mr Obama.
And hooray for all the people who voted for him.

Who cares about the pigeons? They are disgusting.
As for chasing, I've definitely chased after a few good looking guys in my day!

Chasing pigeons is a favorite past time of most every child.
I chase my Yorkie Priscilla almost every day.

Nice shot, Ming. Just hope he never catches one!
My best friend and I (we were 15) chased Richard Pryor all the way from Times Square to Harlem. He tried to lose us in the subway and finally did lose us by ducking into a very scary-looking bar on 125th Street.

I just want to say that I love your blog. Thank you for sharing New York with me. I have never been there, but someday hope to go. What have I chased after? Well, I chased after a guy for 4 months. After he broke up with me. Now I realize that was 4 months too long, and I won't do that again...it's an embarrasing story but at least I learned from it. :)

Super shot, Ming. You've really caught the energy of the little boy and the running away of the pigeon! Love the way everyone else is ignoring what is going on.
