Scale

This weighing scale caught my eye recently. It isn't an antique scale but for some reason, it looks like it is from a different era.

So do you prefer contemporary designs or antiques?

Scale definitely looks old school, and I have never heard of Spy Gold apples. Will have to hit up union square for some fruit...

I used to love going to the I.S.44 market.

I like both contemporary and antique things. Kinda like choosing between my digital or analogue cameras.

Nice photograph.

Contemporary definitely

I can see that it has a control mark and that the pointer is exactly on zero! An honest fruit seller! :-)

Do you have to choose between old and modern?

Love this shot. Love the prices written on cardboard. Love the baskets. And love that weighing scale. It does look quite old to me. and yes I much prefer antiques but actually my real favourite is a mix of modern and old.

Hi Ming! TGIF!! ;)
It looks quite aged; I wonder if it isn't from the last century... ;))

Even as the photo began loading on the page I knew you'd been to Union Square again -:) Spygold is an apple variety I've never heard of before.

That's a tough choice. Aesthetically, I'm more drawn to antiques. But I'll take the flush toilet and the latest computer equipment, thanks.
That's quite a knife the vendor has too!
