Even though it was only 5:30 PM last week, the moon was already out in full glory. This photo was taken on St. Mark's Place near 3rd Avenue in the East Village.
So how is the weather in your hometown?
Welcome to the city that never sleeps!

Rain for two days and more tomorrow. It does rain in Sunny California-despite the song!
Really great capture, Ming.

I like seeing the moon against a still-blue sky. Great capture, Ming.
Our weather's been mostly fair and cool but it's been raining again the past few days. It's weird, actually. It should be turning hot and sunny towards summer already.
the red building is surprising !
the weather here rainy, grey and cold :(
gray, wet, gray...did I say wet?
Love the pic!
It's a perfect 70 degrees here in Louisiana.
great capture Ming.
Hi Ming!
I noticed the moon yesterday when the sun was still up! it's interesting and beautiful :)
By the way, weekend weather in Madrid was fine, cold but sunny. Tomorrow who knows!
Wow, nice shot!
Here it's still a bit wet but the sun shone for a few hours both yesterday and today. The temperature is mild. Altogether I can say it's not bad at all!
I do like a day moon. It's still persisting down if you get my meaning.
Great photo. I like the strong colour of the building.
The weather here is, in one word, cold!
I love to see the sun and the moon in the sky...at the same time. And I really love looking at all of the great buildings around New York City. Thank you. :)
I saw it at 5:30 earlier today when I was over at Columbus Circle!
Great shot! The building has a stunning colour...
Have a great week!

That building is pretty impressive too! Great shot Ming!
Weather here = crappy. Although today is quite nice I must say, probably around 32 degrees celcius at the moment.
You KNOW how I love moon shots. ;-) This is a wonderful photo.

We drove out as early as 5.30am this morning and the moon was so round, big & bright. But tonite, the cloud has covered the whole moon! It seems like the rain is coming down real soon.
My friend said tonite's moon would be the biggest and the next time it looks this big would be 57 years later. I doubt I would be around then! So I better try to catch a glimpse of it this time around!
Happy Chap Goh Mei!
