New York Fashion Week: The Tent

This is the front door to the New York Fashion Week tents at Bryant Park. Inside the tents are four large showrooms with lots of spot lights, catwalks and pretty models. This is the final year the shows are being held here. Next season, it will move uptown to Lincoln Center.

So do you consider yourself a fashionable person?

Me, fashionable? No not really. But then again I don't dress like my mother either. I like to say I'm flexible in my dress sense, I can dress in R.M Williams and Wrangler with the best of them at rodeos, then walk dow the main street in sortof 'fashionable' clothes.

Oh yeah baby NY fashion week!!! I like to think of myself as fashionable but on a day when I I'm not at work I resort to boring clothes.
So managed to sneak in any shows? and have you seen Miss Wintour?!

I think that I'm quite fashionable. At least I'm somewhat interested. The times that I've been to see a catwalk show though, haven't at all thrilled me! People in the business seem so cold and hard to reach. But a little touch of fashion, as long as it does good for you, is always welcome.

what an interesting photo and snapshot of fashionable folks or those aspiring to be so. I have gone to these types of outdoor runway fashion shows and they are performance art.

It will take getting used to for me that it's moving to Lincoln Center.

I like to follow fashion trends and see it all and I would love to be in the thick of things this week in NYC, but at my age I'm not sure I fashionable. I try NOT to dress like a grandmother however!

I love fashion, and keep up with the trends generally, BUT only wear what feels right for me. It's important that you wear the clothes and not let the clothes wear you!

I stood on those steps during fashion week this past September! I'd like to think I am fashionable. At least I enjoy trying to be! :)

Fashionable? Of course I am! If you call big winter boots, a bright red parka, black gloves and a black beret the height of fashion.

When I used to model, I considered myself fashionable! :-) Now that I'm older, I prefer to think of my style as artsy.
