Grand Central Station

This is a close-up shot of the northern wing of the main concourse at the Grand Central Station. The famous Tiffany clock is located right in the middle of the main concourse and sits on top of the information booth. The clock is estimated to cost over $10-$20 million.

So how many clocks do you have at home?

Honestly, if the clock costs that much ($10-$20 millions) I would guess it would have been replaced by a copy in brass or something. That is one expensive clock.

The guide on the walking tour said the value of the clock is "incalculable". I thought that was a better word than "priceless".

Can never have enough of Grand Central Station and this one is a special one. Love all that brass and shine that's going on, not to mention the buzz of people. Goodness if the Tiffany close is worth that, then it's gold, not brass. Whooops!

I've no clocks that work. Just a couple of antique ones set to an odd time and my watch. Oh a clock on the oven and the computer , of course.

It must be such a lively place... and what with those beatiful details... Amazing watch indeed!
We have one wall watch, plain square chromed with black numbers and a very fine table watch circa 1800 which is now being repaired....we'll have it next week and will hear its tic-tic-tic for the first time!

Probably the greatest railway station of all (at least among those I have seen)!

As a young student I dared to enter Tiffany's! Bought a (relatively) cheap silver key ring (lost it almost immediately)! Today, I would just watch the windows!

Didn't know it was a Tiffany clock either. One of your older blogs of the clock inspired me to visit there on our Dec trip. It was a wonderful morning and time to visit the holiday kiosks as well.

We have a clock in every room.....so I should always be on time, correct? Hmmmmm.
