This photo was taken at the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) garden last weekend when the weather was absolutely beautiful. Unfortunately, it's been raining non-stop all week and I am running out of photos to post. If you click on the MoMA link above, you will see a patch of purple flowers on the lower half the photo, on the right of the water fountain. This is the close-up shot of that flower patch.
So what are you plans for the weekend?

What a lovely flower patch, Ming. It does not show up well in the earlier picture.
This weekend I plan to play tennis, walk the dogs, do some housework, and we are going to 2 parties on Saturday night. One is a College Graduation and one Birthday.
I am riding the light rail for the first time and going to the Farmers Market in downtown Phoenix.
Ming, is this Maui? Loved your comment at my place...
Great shot, Ming...love the purple and yellow!
How could you possibly run out of photos in NYC?
In Ocala, yes, but NYC?
this week has been terrible for photos, hasn't it? It's near impossible to hold and umbrella and take a decent shot.
Love the sea of color here. I haven't been to MoMA in ages because I always imagine myself standing in line.
The enemy is invading my city, we have to do something. Don't worry: it is an historical re-enacting of a siege of 1849.
Great shot. I am envious of you having MoMA and all the other museums so handy. Nice shot. I love yellow and purple together!
Ballet recital this am! Lunch with the family tomorrow.
Bon weekend Ming!

The weekend is over now. =( Well, not technically, but the best part of it! I had a party at my house for the first time, had 10 friends come...a very good night, enjoyed by all...next one in planning before the hangovers wore off!
Absolutely perfect photo!
