Pershing Square at Grand Central Station

Pershing Square is small section of space outside the Grand Central Station on East 42nd Street (below) and Park Avenue (overpass bridge). Under the bridge is a restaurant called Pershing Square Restaurant where many commuters stop to relax before getting on the trian home.

Tomorrow, I will post the photo of the Pershing Square Restaurant under the bridge.

I like this shot. I like this kind of bridges. Unfortunately we don't have briges like this.
Very good photo.

Excellent picture, you captured the bridge's details very well. Someday you might want to take some of the 5 month long 'street fair' on Park Ave. south of 42nd street.

We all have to wonder what Bloomberg is really thinking of with this congestion pricing tax scheme.

If he cares so much about traffic jams, congestion and air pollution, why does he let Park Avenue be blocked off? Why doesn’t he do anything about that?

It's true, Pershing Square Restaurant blocks Park Avenue going South at 42nd St. for about 12 hours a day/5 months of the year! This Causes Massive Congestion and Air Pollution!

But apparently it does not bother NYC’s Nanny-in-Chief Mike “Congestion Pricing Tax” Bloomberg?

It certainly supports his claim that the city is highly congested.
