Hand Made in Brooklyn

I met Dan Butler, an artist who had a small booth on Prince Street in SoHo last weekend. He sells beautiful silk-screened t-shirts as well as original prints of his art work. Mr. Butler said he loves what he does and I wish him the best of luck on his endeavor. If you are interested to check out his work, he has a website called, Hand Made in Brooklyn.

So do you love what you do?

Lucky he is, who loves what he does!
No, I don't like what I do for a living, I work in a bank.

I've always wanted to learn silkscreening. Maybe when I retire from my real job.

What a great street portrait Ming. Take a bow my friend. I'm off to see his work. I'd love to own one.
Do I love what I do? You bet I do. Since my retirement I do things every single day that I love !!!

Ming,
Can't get the link to work. Could you check it? Did a search as well and couldn't find David's site.
Thanks,
V

You can tell he's a happy man - look at his face! It seems he does nice work, too.

It is fortunate (and often too rare) to enjoy one's life work.

I've done many things -- teaching was no doubt my favorite. Photography, though, can't be beat, and now that I'm retired, I can spend more time with it!

Thanks much for coming by Ocala DP!

I like this shot. I love what I do totally and utterly, designing and planting gardens and writing about them and photographing them! I am a very lucky girl!

I love what I do. I gave up a nursing career (which I didn't really love) to take care of three little people and a husband. There's joy to be found anywhere, even when the days are very long and challenging.

I definitely love my work as a copy editor, and I can't believe I actually get paid to be picky and anal.
I'm with Elizabeth—would love to own one of his pieces. Nice capture, Ming.
