Pizza Pizza

I took this photo through the windows of a pizzeria in midtown Manhattan. The colors and variety look so intriguing but I don't know if it's really good or not. The dough/crust looks a little heavy to me. I prefer a thin crust pizza.

What kind of pizza do you like? What kind of toppings do you prefer?

I eat it all! Just the other day I had a nice fresh mozzarella and sweet pepper slice with a thick balsamic drizzled on top. I also love both deep dish and thin crispy crust. I think my favorite has to be "grandpa" style. It has a seasoned breadcrumb topping with onion and garlic (almost like a giant baked clam). Bellissimo!

Wonderful photo, appetizing, also at 7.45 AM!
I like pizza Margherita or pizza with tuna and onions.

Oh wow, I love all kinds of pizza — any kind of topping any kind of crust. Although I'm perfectly happy with plain mozarella, 4 layers! :)

Like you, I normally prefer the thinnest possible versions, but there are some exceptions. Surprisingly enough, the best pizzas, in my taste, I have found them around Nice and Marseilles, not in Italy! (Sorry, my Italian friends, I love Italy!!)

Just plain mozzarella, salted and with hot pepper flakes and the slice a bit drippy with oil. I too loved Rays.

Yeah, Ray's (the REAL Ray's) was awesome. We used to go to the original Singa's, in Elmhurst, Queens, where they made individual thin-crust pizzas. Fabulous! Wonder if it's still as good as it was 40 years ago!

To be completely honest, I prefer the disgusting greasy, cheesy Dominoes/Eagle Boys (the fast stuff) to handmade classic pizzas. This stuff looks a little bit too 'good' for me!

I just realised how long it has actually been since I had a pizza! Hopefull I won't have to work tomorrow and I can get on of those cheap, cheesy and greasy ones! Mmmm, with triple cheese filling in the crust! *drools*
