These daffodils are among dozens of fields of daffodils in Central Park right now since Spring has finally arrived. As you can see, the trees are still bald and slow to catch up. Hopefully, in the next month or so, the leaves will grow into the trees.
Some of my new photos have been added to New York Street Shots recently so please stop by and take a look at them. Other photographers have contributed to the site too and they are all super talented. Check out the list of photographers on there.

Ah, the harbinger of spring.
Sydney Daily Photo Turns 2 today!
Greta photo.....welcome spring! The NY street shots is an interesting project.
Thanks.
Doris
How beautiful and refreshing to see a sea of smiling petals. Don't you just love the 'country' in the middle of NYC?!
the flowers present such a cheerful sight!
Well at least your sky appears to be gray. That's some small consolation, I guess -:) Yes, I'm feeling sorry for myself.
Ming, thanks for posting the link to New Your Street Shots. Very rich viewing.
This looks more like spring than scenes Chuck can manage. We got some of these here in SW Ohio. I wish I had a penny for each daffodil ever sold.
Fantastic view !
Ming, the day you try Abe's pick-up line, will you tell us how you go? I'd be curious to hear about the girl's reaction!!! LOL
wow. them daffodils are adorable! they're such a contrast to the bleak background. love this capture of urs ming :)
As usual...you've captured a beautiful look at nature in all it's spring glory...
Thanks for dropping by....Dee Dee
Strange to see the flowers but the bare trees in the background....
That's a beautiful photo Ming. I love the colors and composition.
I think daffodils are my very favourirte flower of the spring, it's such a shame that they don't last very long. Gorgeous shot, Mr Ming.... keep 'em coming!
Ming the merciless, we'll have 300 calls of cruise ships in Lisbon during 2008!! YES!!!
Going low there, a very likable shot. Them bald types are kind of slow starters... ;)
Great photo. It looks like you could be in a wood here in England, except we've got a few leaves now :)
I walked along central park today on central park west and it was gorgeous out! It just puts everyone in a good mood.
Excellent shot! The grey background and the lively beauty in front are just wonderful.
So beautiful...*envy*
I love daffodils because they look so cheerful! I appreciate that you got us down on ground level so that we can feel like we're there, amongst the flowers...
Oh! My! Those daffodils are really gorgeous!
Congrats - that looks like a very nice project! And that is a very nice pic!
I love this photo! Lovely!
