Daffodils at Central Park

These daffodils are among dozens of fields of daffodils in Central Park right now since Spring has finally arrived. As you can see, the trees are still bald and slow to catch up. Hopefully, in the next month or so, the leaves will grow into the trees.

Some of my new photos have been added to New York Street Shots recently so please stop by and take a look at them. Other photographers have contributed to the site too and they are all super talented. Check out the list of photographers on there.

How beautiful and refreshing to see a sea of smiling petals. Don't you just love the 'country' in the middle of NYC?!

Well at least your sky appears to be gray. That's some small consolation, I guess -:) Yes, I'm feeling sorry for myself.

Ming, thanks for posting the link to New Your Street Shots. Very rich viewing.

This looks more like spring than scenes Chuck can manage. We got some of these here in SW Ohio. I wish I had a penny for each daffodil ever sold.

Ming, the day you try Abe's pick-up line, will you tell us how you go? I'd be curious to hear about the girl's reaction!!! LOL

I think daffodils are my very favourirte flower of the spring, it's such a shame that they don't last very long. Gorgeous shot, Mr Ming.... keep 'em coming!

Great photo. It looks like you could be in a wood here in England, except we've got a few leaves now :)

I love daffodils because they look so cheerful! I appreciate that you got us down on ground level so that we can feel like we're there, amongst the flowers...
